Revised Bell Schedule for May 25, 2012

There will be a revised bell schedule for May 25th, with no afternoon classes.  All students participating in the valedictory ceremony are excused for the day.  For a complete schedule, read more.

Report Cards

Report Cards will be issued on Monday, May 7th. They will be given to students during their first period class. If students are absent on Monday, they can collect their report card from the office.

Parent Teacher Night

There will not be a scheduled parent teacher night this reporting period. Parents are reminded that they should contact the teacher directly if they have questions or concerns about their child’s progress. Counsellors are also available to discuss student progress.

Valedictory Ceremonies will be going ahead as planned on Friday, May 25 – please see inside the April newsletter for a details schedule of events.

Update - 2011/2012 eLearning Biology 11 & 12

Into it's third year, eLearning is available for students enrolled in Biology 11 & 12.  Complete with an open source digital textbook, resources are available for enrolled students.  Each course section provides sample formats, interactive animations, quizzes, lab activities, and a calendar.  This year, we plan to add greater interactivites, research projects, and online assessments.  Ever a work in progress, eLearning proves to be a valuable component in-class and beyond.

Update - CHSS WiFi

Our wireless system is complete.  In establishing the network, students may utilize laptops, netbooks, and tablet devices at the school in the course of their education.  The focus remains on educational use.  Access is permitted solely for this goal.
